Regarded as the most of innocent of all Hollywood stars, Doris Day had an incredible career. Making 39 movies between 1948 and 1968, including The Man Who Knew Too Much with Alfred Hitchcock and her most famous of all - Calamity Jane.

    You have a nice piece on Doris Day....yes, she is awesome. I was her private secretary in the 70s while she was filming her hit TV show at CBS...had been a fan since age 10.

    The top photo is from the summer of 1973 - she was filming a Gaines dog food commercial. Doesn't she look great? They were introducing a new line of dog food - lamb.
