DANIEL CRAIG
DANIEL CRAIG is close to being announced to star in the Hollywood remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
The James Bond star would play journalist Mikael Blomkvist in the adaptation of the nail-biting Swedish crime thriller, based on Stieg Larsson's novels, reported TheWrap.com.
David Finicher is set to direct, with Carey Mulligan apparently favourite to play the title character, Lisbeth Salander.
Swedish stars Noomi Rapace and Michael Nyqvist star in the Swedish movie adaptations of Larsson's Millennium trilogy, the first of which - The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - has already been a success in Europe and the US.
