IN WEST END DEBUT
Whoopi Goldberg's getting back in the habit!
The former Sister Act movie star will take to the London stage to play Mother Superior in the musical version of the film for 23 performances only, starting August 10, 2010. Sister Act will mark the Tony Award winner's West End debut.
Goldberg starred as lounge singer Deloris van Cartier in the 1992 film, the role now played by Broadway veteran Patina Miller in the musical. She takes over the role of Mother Superior from Sheila Hancock.
