BOB’S BIG BOY L.A.
The US chain Bob’s Big Boy has its oldest remaining branch in Los Angeles, California. Its 1940’s style architecture makes it a point of interest for local historians and occasionally an ideal site for location filming.
It appears in:
Heat (1995) as well as
Austin Powers 2 : The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999)
The restaurant is also famous as the place where David Lynch ate his lunch for over seven years in the 1970’s. The director would typically arrive at 2.30pm because, as he told interviewers, the chocolate milkshakes were always better after the lunch rush hour was over.
