GLEE creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy may be bringing his hit television musical comedy to the Great White Way, according to a report by The New York Times. As GLEE's success continues to grow, Murphy has continued to reach out and tackle new projects. His film adaptation of 'Eat Pray Love' with Julia Roberts hits cinemas this month, and his name has recently been attached as a possible director for the upcoming WICKED film adaptation.

Sony's co-chairwoman Amy Pascal is quoted as saying, "I'll do anything Ryan wants." There is no word on a timeline for a Broadway production of GLEE, though it would most likely occur during Murphy's current four-year contract with FOX.

As previously reported by BroadwayWorld, Ryan Murphy has finalized a four-year deal with 20th Century Fox worth $24 million. It will include profits from 'Glee' music, merchandise, and touring productions. The deal could net Murphy up to $10 million per year if 'Glee' continues its current rate of success.

Television's most award-winning new series, GLEE was recently honored with 19 Emmy nominations; a Peabody Award; a Golden Globe for Best Television Series, Comedy or Musical; a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series; and a People's Choice Award for Favorite New TV Comedy.
