CAROLS FOR A CURE

A host of Broadway favourites — including two-time Tony winner Bernadette Peters — will be heard on "Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 12," which will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The recording, according to a spokesperson for the project, will be available beginning Oct. 25.

Featured voices on the new recording include Peters and the cast and orchestra from A Little Night Music; Kelsey Grammer, Douglas Hodge, Christine Andreas and the cast of the Tony Award-winning La Cage aux Folles; Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley from Next to Normal; as well as the casts from Memphis, Wicked, Elf and In the Heights.

Jackie Hoffman and the cast of The Addams Family also sing "It’s Chanukah," a Hoffman/Lon Hoyt song written during their time together in Hairspray.

The CDs will also be sold during a six-week "Gypsy of the Year" fundraising period from mid-October through mid-December at participating Broadway and Off-Broadway shows in New York.
