Scientists have developed a cell/mobile phone technology which can tell if a caller is happy, angry, bored or sad.
‘EmotionSense’ speech recognition system will transform how psychologists study emotions, moods and social behaviour, academics believe — and they hope to fit the technology into standard mobile phones so that wider research can be carried out to discover what ‘makes people tick’.
Results revealed that callers are happier at home, sadder at work and display more ‘intense’ emotions in the evenings.
