Researchers credited the shift to increased expectations guys feel to stay physically fit and dress well, along with the fact that more women say baldness and a paunch aren’t necessarily deal breakers.
Men and women over 50 are feeling increasing pressure to look younger.
Saga magazine reported that both men and women over age 50 are 14 times as likely to use anti-wrinkle cream as their parents were, and cosmetic surgery has practically doubled.
