There hasn’t been a prominent adaptation of DC Comics’ Wonder Woman since the 70’s TV series starring Lynda Carter as the title hero.
Though there have been sporadic talks of a film adaptation from Joel Silver and Joss Whedon with names like Sandra Bullock, Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie being rumored to wear the golden bracelets, Deadline says the female hero will be flying her invisible jet onto the small screen courtesy of David E. Kelly
The praised creator will write and produce the new series at Warner Bros. (the home of DC Entertainment) which is on the verge of being shopped around to networks.
