Susan Boyle’s second album "The Gift" sells 318,000 copies in its first week.
Although not even close to her last year's opening week of "I Dreamed a Dream” which bowed with 701,000, it's enough to allow the British singing sensation to dethrone last week's champ Taylor Swift from the first spot of Billboard Hot 200.
Knocked off the hot spot, Swift manages to fall only one spot. Her already-platinum-certified studio album "Speak Now” sits at the runner-up place with additional 212,000 units sold which gives her a total of nearing 1.6 million since the effort made its way out across United States on October 25.
