Barbie and Ken are back together.
Toymaker Mattel says the doll duo reunited after Ken mounted a fierce campaign to win Barbie’s heart.
The Ken character even used social media sites Facebook and Twitter to woo Barbie. They reconciled after a hiatus of nearly seven years, during which time Barbie took up with an Australian surfer named Blaine.
Mattel says Barbie changed her Facebook status today to “in a relationship” and notes the couple merged their Facebook pages as a sign of their reunion.
