Paramount Pictures has announced that the world premiere of "Thor" will take place Sunday April 17th at Event Cinemas George Street in Sydney, Australia.
Actors Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Kat Dennings, Jaimie Alexander and director Kenneth Branagh will all be on hand for the premiere and a two-day promotional tour in Sydney and Melbourne.
Australian audiences will also be the first in the world to experience the film with it opening in local cinemas on April 21st.
