CHUD reports that according to multiple sources, Australian Guy Pearce is set to make an appearance in Ridley Scott's currently filming "Prometheus".
There's no word on what role he's specifically playing in the apparent "Alien" prequel, but it's not expected to be a major one as all of them have previously been cast. Best guess is a small role akin to his part in "The Hurt Locker".
If the report is correct, Pearce would join a cast that currently includes Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Rafe Spall, Logan Marshall-Green, Benedict Wong, and Emun Elliott.
