Robert-Downey-Jr_0Robert Downey Jr. is set to work on another detective movie after "Sherlock Holmes".

Variety reported that Downey Jr. and his wife Susan have joined forces with Warner Bros. Pictures to develop a feature film, which is adapted from Earle Stanley Gardner's famous detective fiction novel, "Perry Mason".

Downey Jr. and his wife will serve as the producers along with Robert Cort. Aside from producing it, Downey Jr  is also eyeing the project as a potential starring vehicle for him. Meanwhile, the producers are still looking for a suitable scribe to pen the script, which is based on an original story conceived by the actor himself and David Gambino.
