WHAT KYLIE MINOGUE AND THE WIGGLES HAVE IN COMMON

One kicked off her music career grooving to The Locomotion, the others made their millions with moves like The Monkey Dance.

Kylie Minogue and The Wiggles will be inducted into this year's Australian ARIA Hall of Fame, organisers have confirmed.




danwiggleMinogue will accept her award in person, adding some star power to the ARIA Awards at Allphones Arena in Sydney.

The Wiggles will also collect their latest accolade following the group's Order Of Australia honours in 2010.

Boasting nearly 50 years in the music business between them, Minogue and The Wiggles are two of Australia's most bankable international acts.

Minogue has sold more than 68 million records, released 11 albums and holds an OBE because of her enduring popularity in the UK.

The Wiggles are among the greatest children's entertainers of all time with 30 million albums and DVD sales and markets in Brazil and China.
