“JURASSIC PARK IV” MAYBE … “JURASSIC PARK” IN 3D MAYBE

jurassic-parkWhile it has been long rumoured that Steven Spielberg is going to make "Jurassic Park IV", there were not many details shared about the project. Nonetheless, Spielberg's long-time producing partner, Kathleen Kennedy, recently opened up about the progress of the fourth "Jurassic Park" film.

Speaking to Collider, Kennedy shared that the project still needs a perfect script before it finally gets off the ground. "A great script is what it's gonna take to get a fourth 'Jurassic Park'," said the co-founder of Amblin Entertainment. "We have a very high bar for ourselves because we're just like the audience, we don't wanna make the movie if there's not a reason to make the movie."

During the chat, Kennedy was asked if there's a possibility to give the original "Jurassic Park" a 3D re-release treatment. Hinting that it might happen, the 58-year-old producer said, "I'm not a huge proponent of post-conversion, but I think if the filmmaker gets intricately involved in the post-conversion, then I think it can be really, really good and I think 'Jurassic Park' is a perfect example of a movie that could work really, really well as a 3D picture."
