Bobby Vee once released Robert Zimmerman from his band because Vee felt that Zimmerman had no future in the music business. Zimmerman later changed his name to Bob Dylan.
In 1973 , Bobby Vee cut the album Nothing Like A Sunny Day under his given name of Robert Velline.
