It makes you wanna “Shout!”

The misfit frat boys of “Nation Lampoon’s Animal House” will be singing a new tune on Broadway.

Universal Pictures announced Monday that the 1978 comedy that brought John Belushi to the big screen — and put him in a toga — is being made into a musical.

Canadian alt-rockers Barenaked Ladies will provide the score for the show, which is set in the 1960s and centres on the audacious Delta Chi Fraternity. Playwright Michael Mitnick will adapt the story that essentially launched the gross-out comedy film genre.

Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw, director and choreographer of “The Book of Mormon,” will repeat those duties on the new show.

Production dates are to be announced.
