NW MINIMALIST MOVIE POSTERS

Django-Teaser-Post

With the recent reveal of the DJANGO UNCHAINED teaser poster (above), the beauty of minimalist movie posters is once again news. Hollywood has relied very heavily on Photoshop in recent years to ensure they cram as much visually into posters as possible but it sacrifices the art and intrigue that can be created with just shadows and primary colours. With the exception of the awesome posters Mondo puts out, the desire for posters falls on the internet fan community to create them.

French artist Alain Bossuyt has created a series of posters for some classic films from Hitchcock, Spielberg, the Bond franchise, and others. They are basic, bright, and would look fantastic in a frame in your home. These are what Hollywood movie posters should still look like today.
