Director Guy Ritchie has signed on to direct another project from producer Lionel Wigram - TREASURE ISLAND. Interest in the project was alluded to back in 2010, but no movement had been seen since until Ritchie confirmed his involvement this past weekend.
The script will be written by one Alex Harakis, while the adaptation itself is already being called "a stylized version of the classic novel, much [like] Sherlock Holmes.”
