• Ometeoti, the god of fire, was dually male – Ametecutli – and female – Omecihuat – and bore the Four Tezcatlipocas.
• The Four Tezcatlipocas created the world and took turns as ruler of the sun.
• The universe consisted of sky – with 13 levels – earth, and underworld with nine levels.
• The Tezcatlipoca was depicted with a missing foot and a black and yellow stripe painted across his face.
