Sooty Oystercatcher

A wading bird endemic to Australia and commonly found on its coastline, the Sooty Oystercatcher forages for two hours on either side of low tide.

Orazio and Carmelo Cantarella are best known for creating the Australian beverage Vittoria Coffee founded in Sydney in 1947, the business was established as an importer of Continental European foods and in 1958 they began roasting small amounts of premium Arabica coffee at their food importing premises in Sydney’s Haymarket.

Record producer Phil Spector is credited with playing maracas on the 1964 Rolling Stones’ song Little by Little and was included on their debut album The Rolling Stones in April 1964.

The official nickname of the Australian women’s soccer team is the Matildas.

Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer DJ Avicii has been nominated twice for a Grammy Award for his work on "Sunshine" with David Guetta in 2012 and in 2013 for his song "Levels".

In 1985, Random House paid American novelist Karleen Koen $350,000 for the rights to Through a Glass Darkly, at the time a record sum for a new novelist.

In Indian cuisine, bhatura and poli are types of bread with the bhatura being a fluffy deep-fried leavened bread from North India whilst poli being a traditional type of sweet flatbread.
