The 28-year-old is making final preparations before he exchanges vows with Middleton in London on April 29 and he has admitted he's already feeling nervous about his big day.

In an interview broadcast in Britain on Friday, April 1, he says, "I was telling everyone I did the rehearsal the other day and my knees started tapping quite nervously. ELIZABETH TAYLOR BLVD IN WEST HOLLYWOOD?

elizabeth taylorAD01

West Hollywood residents are calling for a street to be named after actress and AIDS activist Elizabeth Taylor, who died last week at age 79.

According to LA Weekly, Michelle Rex, the interim deputy director for Councilman John D'Amico, residents have been calling and writing City Hall to suggest the street naming, but there has not yet been any formal discussion among city leaders.

Taylor, a major early force in AIDS fundraising, spent time at West Hollywood spots including The Abbey, where she sipped shots of tequila.

“West Hollywood City Council members -- four out of five of whom are gay -- have historically loved voting for official bans and proclamations, beating other metropolises to the punch on a variety of issues,” reports LA Weekly. “Now they have a chance to do something truly deserved and something residents very much want.”

BUBLE MARRIES IN ARGENTINA

BUBLE_MARRIES

Canadian crooner Michael Bublé sealed his "Crazy Love" for Argentine actress Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre by marrying her in a civil ceremony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Thursday.

Bublé, 35, wore a gray suit for the ceremony, while the bride donned a violet dress with silver high heels. The pair kissed for the cameras and posed for fans gathered outside, and the bride threw a bouquet of purple orchids into the crowd.

The couple got engaged in 2009, when the singer proposed in front of Lopilato's family in her native Argentina.

But the party still isn't over. The pair will reportedly hold a bigger ceremony this weekend with 300 guests celebrating at a mansion outside Buenos Aires.

The pop star first met his Argentine TV star wife after one of his concerts in Buenos Aires in November 2008. "They met at a party the record company threw for him after his show in Buenos Aires," a friend of the singer's told PEOPLE shortly after the engagement. "The head of the label wanted to introduce Michael to Argentina's most famous actress. When he met her, he said it was love at first sight."

And, the friend says, those closest to them couldn't be happier. Their families have met "several times and are all very happy about this union," says the friend. The two have even worked together: She appears in the video of his hit single, "Haven't Met You Yet."

Bublé won the Grammy last month for traditional pop vocal album.

“FACEBOOK” DEPRESSION

A new condition called “Facebook depression” may be affecting your teenager, or you for that matter, if you spend too much time on it.

Researchers warning in the latest issue of Pediatrics Journal that the constant feed of status, picture and message updates gives you a skewed view of reality, which could make vulnerable kids feel like they aren’t good enough. According to the study,

Facebook can create a false reality because people normally post the best sides of themselves — not the full story. It’s really like a big popularity contest — who can get the most friend requests or get the most pictures tagged.

TRIVIA BITS ... VAN GOGH

Van Gogh was known to suffer from epilepsy. One of the treatments for epilepsy in Van Gogh’s time was digitalis. This drug is derived from the common foxglove. It can cause yellow-tinted vision or yellow spots. This may account for the swirling features in The Starry Night (1889) and the yellow tone in some of Van Gogh’s other paintings.

LADY GAGA GIVEN RUBY SLIPPERS FROM “THE WIZARD OF OZ”

LADY_GAGA_RUBY_SLIPPERS

Lady GaGa is said to be over the moon after receiving a pair of £25,000 ruby slippers, made originally for Judy Garland for her role as Dorothy in the Wizard Of Oz.

The Born This Way singer, who performed with the famous shoes at her LA Monster Ball show on her 25th birthday, was allegedly given the slippers from the cult 1939 movie by her management, before going on stage at the Staples Center.

According to The Sun, GaGa told her Little Monsters that she once auditioned to play the role of Dorothy in a show, but lost out on the part to the school bully.

The 25-year old explained: "I wanted to be Dorothy so bad. I was in 8th grade and she was a senior."

I definitely deserved to get it, but I didn't get it. I was one of the people in the chorus, the worst role. On behalf of myself and all of those bullied around the world, now these ruby slippers are mine."

Lady G, real name Stefani Germanotta, added: "When you don't feel like Dorothy today, maybe you feel like someone on the chorus or the Scarecrow - just know you will have opportunities in your real life to change things and maybe someone will hand you a pair of ruby slippers."

It is thought that five pairs of the iconic ruby slippers were made for Garland, with The Sun reporting that one sold for a cool £93,000 and is due to be auctioned off again at Christie's next month.

WHY SOME PEOPLE SHOULD NEVER TRAVEL

The following are actual stories provided by travel agents:

I had someone ask for an aisle seats so that his or her hair wouldn't get messed up by being near the window.

A client called in inquiring about a package to Hawaii.  After going over all the cost info, she asked, "Would it be cheaper to fly to California and then take the train to Hawaii?"

I got a call from a woman who wanted to go to Capetown.  I started to explain the length of the flight and the passport information when she interrupted me with "I'm not trying to make you look stupid, but Capetown is in Massachusetts. "Without trying to make her look like the stupid one, I calmly explained, "Cape Cod is in Massachusetts, Capetown is in Africa."  Her response ... click.

A man called, furious about a Florida package we did. I asked what was wrong with the vacation in Orlando. He said he was expecting an ocean-view room. I tried to explain that is not possible, since Orlando is in the middle of the state. He replied, "Don't lie to me. I looked on the map and Florida is a very thin state."

I got a call from a man who asked, "Is it possible to see England from Canada?" I said, "No." He said "But they look so close on the map."

COLIN FIRTH TO RETURN TO WEST END’S STAGE

FIRTH_SCOTT_THOMAS

Oscar winner Colin Firth is planning to leave screen glory behind to re-team with his "The English Patient" co-star Kristin Scott Thomas in London's West End.

But rather than ride on the wave of his movie success, Firth has decided to challenge himself in a stage role, according to Britain's Mail on Sunday. Firth is allegedly in talks to star alongside Scott Thomas in Harold Pinter's "Betrayal" later this year.

It would be the first time Firth has stepped on-stage in over a decade. A source tells the publication, "Colin has wanted to go on stage for a long while. He'll do 'Betrayal' after he completes filming 'Gambit' with Cameron Diaz and Alan Rickman."

STOPPING SALE OF STEVIE WONDER’S “SUPERSTITION” GRAMMY

stevie-wonder-01HG01

A Grammy Award presented to Stevie Wonder in 1973 is at the canter of a legal battle as officials behind the prestigious prize giving fight to keep the honour from the auction block in an upcoming pop memorabilia sale. The blind star received the accolade for his classic hit "Superstition", but it has since found its way into the hands of "Gotta Have It! Collectibles" owner Pete Siegel, who is planning to sell it off.
Representatives from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the body responsible for the Grammys, have taken issue with the sale and have filed suit against Siegel, accusing him of a variety of charges, including fraud, unjust enrichment and false advertising.

Prince-Harry_09I987YT

Prince Harry will join a group of wounded British soldiers on a charity trek to the North Pole on Tuesday, March 29 after clearing space in his busy schedule. The British royal, who served in Afghanistan as a member of Britain's armed forces, voiced his hopes to take part in the expedition earlier this year to raise money for Walking With The Wounded, an organization which helps rehabilitate injured troops.

He recently learned he would not need to report for military training until next month, allowing the Prince to tag along for the gruelling journey. Harry will spend five days trekking in freezing temperatures with a number of servicemen who were wounded in Afghanistan - and he can't wait to tackle the feat.
