Christmas is rapidly approaching — how’s that shopping coming along? There are a lot of procrastinators out there, according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll.

Just 43-percent say they’ve made all their purchases for the season, while 53-percent admit they’re still looking for gifts. Nearly 30-percent confess that they haven’t even begun their holiday shopping yet, but 67-percent note they’ve at least started buying presents.

Those under the age of 30 seem to be the most inclined to drag their feet. Adults in this age group are the least likely to be finished shopping, and the most likely to have not yet started.

Most people are buying their gifts at stores. While 57-percent note they’ll do some holiday shopping online, only three-percent say they’re making all of their gift purchases via the Internet. Meanwhile, 42-percent note they’re not doing any online shopping for the holidays
