Everywhere you look there's a John, Christian, Daniel, Jacob, Sarah, Lily -- names derived from the Bible, or at least credited that way. Many people have religious beliefs that influence their choice of children's names.
Other options include Pagan or Wiccan-themed baby names.
Not one culture influenced Paganism or Wicca as a whole. Nor is there one book from which names can be taken. Nature and astronomy are obviously going to be a large part of the influence on Paganism. Celtic names are incredibly common since many of our modern traditions come from old Celtic practices.
Some parents-to-be look toward different cultural backgrounds like Welsh, Gaelic, or Germanic or to Egyptian, Norse, or Greek Gods for ideas. Some find it pretentious to use the names of Gods or Goddesses as a child's name with which others have no problem.
