THE BEACH BOYS TO REUNITE FOR ANNIVERSARY TOUR

 

 

BEACH BOYSThe Beach Boys are coming back together as a five-piece band. It's confirmed that Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks have all agreed to reunite for a tour to celebrate their 50th anniversary, and will map out 50 dates for the celebration.

"I'm really looking forward to celebrating this important milestone in the Beach Boys' history with the other guys, and with Capitol Records - where it all began 50 years ago," Marks offered his thought on the reunion. "It means a lot to me that we can all reunite and pay tribute to the fans who have kept the music alive."

Wilson additionally said in a statement, "This anniversary is special to me because I miss the boys, and it will be a thrill for me to make a new record and be on stage with them again." He and the other boys will officially announce the tour during a special appearance at the upcoming 54th annual Grammy Awards on February 12, 2012.”
