Glee is parting ways with actor Patrick Gallagher, who is not expected to reprise his role as football coach Ken Tanaka in the smash series' sophomore season.
Earlier, it was announced that the Fox musical comedy would be introducing actress Dot Jones as William McKinley High's new football coach, Shannon Beiste.
It can now be told that she will not be assisting Coach Tanaka, but replacing him. As he has not been written into the show's first few episodes, it appears that Tanaka ran his course after failing in his attempt to marry Emma.
