STRITCH & PETERS
Broadway's A Little Night Music revival got a double dose of new star power on July 13, 2010, when Tony Award winners Elaine Stritch and Bernadette Peters stepped in to take over for departing stars Angela Lansbury and Catherine Zeta-Jones, respectively, at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
Naturally, Broadway.com's resident artist, Justin 'Squigs' Robertson, couldn't resist the opportunity to celebrate by putting Stritch and Peters' much-anticipated mother/daughter pairing in ink, turning the Sondheim divas' artful arcs as Madame and Desiree Armfeldt into one literal work of art.
A limited edition of 11" x 14" hand-signed prints of the drawing are available to purchase for $50. Click here to visit Broadway Ink store, featuring the art of Squigs!
