Portal of Awareness: in Mexico City

Nescafé commissioned public art campaign in Mexico City called Despierta a la Vida, translated as Awaken to Life. The campaign consisted of eight artists using a maximum of 1,500 mugs to create a public art piece. This installation entitled Portal of Awareness is made of 1,497 and mugs was designed by architect Michel Rojkind. This incredible sculpture was commissioned in honor of Nescafé’s 60th anniversary.
