ANGELINA TO MEET BOSNIAN WAR VICTIMS

Angelina Jolie has offered to meet with a group of Bosnian war victims as she continues the fight to film her new movie in the country. The Hollywood actress is making her directorial debut with a film set in the region, but the shoot was thrown into jeopardy this week when government officials revoked her production permit.

The move came after confusion over the film's plot led to outrage from officials at the Women Victims of War (WVW) association, who were angered by suggestions the story will focus on a Muslim woman who falls in love with her Serbian rapist.

Producers have turned over a copy of the script in a bid to clear up the confusion and win back the permit, and Jolie has now offered to make amends with the victims in a face-to-face meeting. She says, "I have great respect for all the work of the WVW association... and I would like the opportunity to speak with them to personally clear up any misunderstandings about this project."
