TRAILER … “EXTREMELY LOUD AND INCREDIBLY CLOSE”

 

POSTER -extremely-loud-and-incredibly-closeThe first trailer for "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" has come out via Apple. It gives a look at a strong relationship between a little boy and his beloved father who dies during the 9/11 attacks in 2001. The video also presents background music from U2's "Where the Streets Have No Name", that reflects the emotional feeling in the video.

Based on the novel of the same title by Jonathan Safran Foers, "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" follows Oskar Schell, an ambitious young nine-year-old who scours New York City in search of a lock that a key his father left him will open. Oskar's father died in the 9/11 attacks and the boy was also said to be an amateur inventor, jewellery designer, astrophysicist, tambourine player and pacifist at such a young age.

Thomas Horn plays the little Oskar, while Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock star as his parents. Directed by Stephen Daldry, the movie is set for a wide release on January 20, 2012
