back to the future

Writer and director Robert Zemeckis is in talks to bring his iconic 1985 film Back To The Future to Broadway, according to Deadline.com. Zemeckis is in early discussion with co-writer Bob Gale and the film’s composer, Alan Silvestri, to adapt the film for stage. No timeline or casting has been announced.

Back To The Future follows Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) as he is accidently sent back in time from 1985 to 1955, where he helps his teenaged parents fall in love. He then enlists the help of Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown (Christopher Lloyd) to return to 1985. The Oscar-winning film spawned two popular sequels.
