Some of Broadway’s brightest stars came out on October 4 to celebrate composer and Oscar, Tony, Emmy, Grammy, Golden Globe & Pulitzer Prize winner - Marvin Hamlisch in a benefit for the Actors Fund.
Hamlisch is the composer of A Chorus Line, They're Playing Our Song, Smile and The Goodbye Girl, to name a few. The gala evening Six Degrees of Marvin Hamlisch also honoured long-time Broadway pianist and frequent Hamlisch collaborator Fran Liebergall, who suffers from multiple sclerosis.
As if that weren’t enough, it also served as a 35th anniversary reunion for original cast members of Broadway landmark A Chorus Line.
