Johnny Depp is getting the nod as America’s favourite actor. The Hollywood star saw his popularity grow over the past year with his work in such films as “Alice In Wonderland” and “The Tourist” to take the top spot in a new Harris Poll. He’s been in the annual survey’s top ten since 2004, but this is his first year at number one. Depp unseats Clint Eastwood, who this year falls to the number nine spot. Depp also ranks first among women, Republicans, Independents, and Liberals, as well as adults under the age of 34 and those living in the West.
