The Japan National Stadium due for completion in 2018 will host the 2019 Rugby World Cup and will serve as the main venue for the 2020 Olympic Games if accepted. Once completed, the Stadium will be able to hold 80,000 spectators and replace Toyko’s Kasumigaoka National Stadium for other sporting events in the area.
