- She was symbolized by the peacock foe her pride, and a sceptre as the symbol; of authority.
- Hera was the daughter of Rhea and Cronus.
- Many regions in Greece claimed to be Hera’s birthplace including the Island of Samos, Arcadia, Knossos and Argos. Her cult was revered everywhere.
