Richard Branson
Demonstrating that Richard was thinking outside of the box from a very early age, Branson was initially expelled from a school but he later managed to get the ruling overturned. What happened? Well, Branson was caught by a teacher making nocturnal visits to the headmaster's daughter and was promptly told to leave the school. However, the next day Branson constructed a fake suicide note but made sure to give it to a particularly nosey classmate. The expulsion was overturned.
Kevin Spacey
Kevin Spacey may be an Oscar-winning actor, but he was a real rebel in his early years and was expelled from Northridge Military Academy. Thankfully, Kevin was later accepted by another school and it is there that he discovered his love of acting. Well, they say things happen for a reason.
Guy Ritchie
British film director Guy Ritchie was expelled from Stanbridge Earls School at the age of 15. It's not clear why, though – he claims it was because of drugs, while his dad maintains it was for skipping class and 'entertaining a girl in his room'. His only qualification was in film studies; luckily it's served him pretty well.
