Richard Schaen is just a regular dad who was looking for a way to help fund his daughter’s wedding when Spider-Man saved the day.
Richard dug out his old comic book collection only to find Spider-Man No.1 that he bought for 12 cents back in 1963 just sitting there collecting dust.
So what’s a dad to do?
List it on an auction site, of course! His 12-cent investment had a huge return. He netted $7,900 and was able to pay for the wedding.
